COOKIE POLICY

BACKGROUND

In accordance with Spanish regulations governing the use of cookies in relation to the provision of electronic communications services, set out in Royal Decree-Law 13/2012 of March 30, we inform you about the cookies used in the application of PAPHOBA, S.L. (also the provider) and the reason for its use. It also informs you that by browsing the application you are giving your consent to be able to use them.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a file that is downloaded when accessing certain applications. Cookies allow an application, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their computer and, depending on the information they contain and the way in which they use their equipment, they can be used to recognize the user. Cookies are only associated with an anonymous user and their computer or device and do not provide references that allow us to know their personal data.

COOKIES AFFECTED BY THE REGULATIONS AND EXEMPT COOKIES

According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed consent from the user are analytical cookies and advertising and affiliation cookies, with the exception of those of a technical nature and those necessary for the operation of the application or the provision of services expressly requested by the user.

TYPE OF COOKIES

  • According to the entity to manage them, there are own cookies (those that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided) and third-party cookies (those that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies).
  • According to the weather that remain active, are session data (designed to request and store data while the user accesses) and persistent data (where the data is stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a defined period by the person responsible for the cookie - it can range from a few minutes to several years).
  • According to the finality for which they treat the information they collect, they can be:
    - Technical cookies (necessary for the use of and provision of the service) hired),
    - Personalization cookies (which allow the user to access the service with predefined characteristics, such as language, regional configuration, etc.)
    - Analysis cookies (they collect information on the use that is made),
    - Advertising cookies (they collect information about the personal preferences and choices of users),
    - Affiliate cookies (they allow us to track visits from other websites, with which the website establishes an affiliation contract).

EXEMPT COOKIES

  • those that only allow communication between the user's equipment and the network.
  • those strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user.

In addition, GT29, in its Opinion 4/201210, has interpreted that among the exempted cookies would be those whose purpose is:

  • “User input” cookies (Session and user input cookies are usually used to track user actions when filling out online forms on several pages, or as a shopping basket to track the items that the user has selected when pressing a button)
  • Authentication or user identification cookies (session only).
  • User security cookies (For example, cookies used to detect erroneous and repeated attempts to connect to a website)
  • Multimedia player session cookies.
  • Session cookies for load balancing.
  • Cookies for customizing the user interface.
  • Certain add-on cookies (plug-in) to exchange Social Content (The exception only applies to users who have decided to keep the session open)
